About the Role

Welder The welder is responsible for interpreting blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts. They will have

to be able to weld small and large components. Maintenance welders perform welding in the repair, maintenance,

fabrication, and modification of industrial equipment and establishments. They also diagnose and repair a variety of

metalwork. Duties and Responsibilities Reading and understanding blueprints before starting a project Sourcing the

materials to be used in the project Measuring and cutting materials to specifications Welding materials using the

correct materials to join the metals together Checking finished work to ensure it falls within the tolerances marked on
