About the Role
Job Title: Machine Operator - Freight Elevator Operator Shift: 1st Shift The Machine Operator - Freight Elevator
Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of freight elevators, ensuring the timely and secure
transport of materials and personnel within the building. This role also includes some custodial and customer service
duties. Freight Elevator Operation: Answer freight calls promptly, prioritize calls, and maintain operational
efficiency. Operate the freight elevator in a safe and efficient manner. Regularly inspect incoming and outgoing
materials/cargo for safe transport. Prevent damage to freight. Halt transport of materials if they are not safely
