About the Role
Description Assembles mechanical units or fabricated parts of various size and complexity using hand tools, jigs, and
fixtures, as well as light power tools and equipment. Follows oral instructions, drawings, bills of material, and
written procedures.
* Fits, aligns, adjusts, and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and operating requirements.
* Tests assembled parts.
* Repairs units or parts that have failed to meet specified functional performance.
