About the Role

Grinder Position The Grinder operates a machine to grind metal parts to appropriate standards. Schedule: 7a-3p. Must be

ok with overtime when needed. Essential/Key Functions Grinds metal objects, such as castings, billets, machine parts,

and sheet metal subassemblies to smooth or rough-finish objects to specifications. Removes excess metal, scratches, or

burs by feeding metal pieces against rotating grinding wheel. Examines and measures work piece for conformance to

standards. Selects and mounts abrasive wheels of different grit size to grinder to obtain specified finish on work

piece. Verify correct product using job traveler. Inspect a wide variety of commercial and manufactured parts for
