About the Role

As a major supplier of aggregates in Nebraska since 1921, Central Sand and Gravel Company, A CRH Company, has a long

history as a mainstay of construction and development projects throughout the state - even supplying aggregates for one

of Nebraska's very first concrete paving projects. Position Overview The Diesel Mechanic is responsible for maintaining

diesel Trucks and equipment operations by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements, correcting

vehicle deficiencies and adjustments. Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists and

hand tools. Maintains and repairs heavy equipment, trucks, shop, and non-mobile equipment on a company-wide basis.
