About the Role

Drop Ball Crane Operator The Drop Ball Crane Operator is responsible for safely and effectively operating the drop ball

crane to process scrap metal at the drop ball pit. This role ensures all work is carried out in accordance with company

safety policies, standard operating procedures, and site environmental regulations. The operator performs pre-shift

inspections, communicates with team members using radios, and follows protocols to minimize hazards and environmental

risks. Key Responsibilities: Conduct thorough and documented Pre-Shift Inspections of the crane and work area. Perform

visual inspections of the drop ball pit to ensure safety barriers are in place and debris is properly contained. Operate
