About the Role
Bus/Van Driver Pool The University of Rio Grande/Rio Grande Community College is seeking to establish a pool of
available bus/van drivers to transport students in university-owned vehicles to-and-from sporting events and other
activities. Individuals will be hired as independent contractors at a rate of $175 per day plus covered meals and
lodging (for overnight travel). Pick up and drop off passengers at locations according to schedules Report delays,
accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations Check the condition of a vehicle's tires, brakes, windshield
wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water and safety equipment to ensure that everything is in working order Must have valid
