About the Role

Description Responsible, under general supervision, for the operation of two or more multiple spindle automatic screw

machines that turn, form, and thread externally and internally cylindrical objects from metal bar stock. Job is

performed in a machine shop environment, requires lifting up to 50lbs, and requires own hand tools (screw drivers,

pliers, micrometers, etc.). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Learn to remove, reset, replace, and sharpen machine tools with surface and/or pedestal grinders to maintain production

in accordance with specifications. Use standard dimensional inspection gages (depth, height, ring, thread, snap,
