Assembler

About the Role

Position Summary: Assembles fabricated parts to subassemblies and complete units. Fits, tests, and calibrates parts and

mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Uses hand tools, jigs, fixtures, and miscellaneous power tools

and equipment. Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area when required. Principle

Duties (includes, but is not limited to):

* Uses primarily hand and some pneumatic tools to assemble valve parts into a finished product.

* Examines valve bodies and parts to be assembled to assure they are correct, including size, material and machining
